Are you tired of auto-generated captions? Do you have a long, technical file full of industry-specific jargon? Does your file contain more than 2 speakers? Most importantly, do you want to stick it to the gig economy (& get higher quality results) by giving a fulfilling job to a genuine human being?

LOOK NO FURTHER!

I have over 10 years of transcription experience.
I type 130wpm on average with a typical 24hr turnaround.
I do supplemental research on all files, and am familiar with a wide range of subjects already, including but not limited to:

You will typically recieve your transcript back within about 24hrs; if it will take longer, I'll be in touch.

I use default industry formatting for VERBATIM transcripts. i.e. Speaker 1, Speaker 2 if names not given; using timestamps where I cannot parse words; and I TEND TO INCLUDE ALL UMS, UHS, LIKES, STUTTERS, SWEARS, COLLOQUIALISMS AND MIS-SPEAKS.

For "CLEAN" transcripts: if you'd prefer me to edit the file as I go, removing stutters or making minor grammatical corrections for readability, you need to request this specifically. I always type exactly what is said unless specified otherwise.

files must be clean and AUDIBLE.

I do not have forensic software or superhuman abilities.

IF YOU CAN'T HEAR WHAT'S BEING SAID,

I WON'T BE ABLE TO EITHER.

There are some exceptions, of course; I have a skill that helps me parse individual speakers in a crowd, for instance, and I do have special headphones to improve audio quality. However, sometimes files contain static or other enviornmental noise, an excess of crosstalk that makes individual speech impossible to hear, or other corruption to the actual audio in the file. Sometimes speakers are too far from their microphone, or they are screaming into it, or sometimes the mic is being covered by another object. Sometimes the recording was taken outdoors near traffic, in the wind, or in a crowd.

THESE are the types of audio problems I am addressing here. If your audio is in any way too corrupted to actually parse the words, I can't help you. I will do my absolute best to transcribe every word that is actually audible. I can type fast and I'm good at my job. But that doesn't make me a wizard, and CSI's "enhance" tool isn't real.

I will mark ALL crosstalk & inaudible speech as such with a timestamp.

I reserve the right to decline a file for any reason, and with none given. My work is complex & my time is valuable.
